Friction Property
Ligtex™ has extremely low friction coefficient and it can achieve even smaller number if lubrication oil or oil/water mixture in the ratio of 1 : 1 is used. Below table is comparison of friction coefficient of Ligtex™ and that of conventional phenol product which is commonly.

Characteristic
- Great Sliding Properties in chemicals, having High Chemical Resistance against both Acids and Alkalis.
- Longer Lifetime against Aggressive Chemicals in High Temperature.
- Extreme Low Friction Factor (0.02~0.03, with Lubrication) and Excellent Wear Resistance.
- Reliable and Stable Dimensions due to its Low Water and Oil Absorption.
Thermal Property
Low thermal conductivity of Ligtex™ Composite Material is needed to be considered in case of use in high temperature.
